April 20, 2010 | USS Rochester - posted by Amanda The USS Rochester name has been given to three ships in the US Navy. All of them were named for our Rochester, NY. This banner is in honor of the third ship to bear the name, Rochester, which is USS Rochester CA-124. This ship was in service from 1946-1973 and most remembered for her six-star service during the Korean War. This banner hangs in the Eisenhardt Building on the RMSC campus. |
